This number keeps calling me in Auckland NZ. It display (02) 5616 0105 on my phone never leave a message!

These guys called today, then i noticed theyd actually called on wednesday and thursday just gone, all calls 8-9seconds.. hung up when i answered today. called back five times after that.. last two calls were callblocked. if they are scammers they are not very good at it

Scam call using ID spoofing. Don't bother.

had a missed call from them here in NZ on my mobile phone, very strange I get very few calls from Australian numbers. Tried to call back but it won't connect

Male with an accent (maybe from Philippines), said he was Rex from Smart Utilities - Corporate Department. Asked for the director of our company, so that they could conduct an energy comparison.

Rung and then hung up, probably scammers.

Our emergency counseling line has been getting jammed all morning by drop kicks calling from (02) 5616 0105. We called our service provider and had their number blocked, so even if they try to hide their number, it will still get blocked. Well worth the $3 a month.

keeps calling a business in Melbourne, a woman with a strong English accent and well spoken, says she is calling from London, asking for our facilities manager or the person who looks after consultants. The time that she is calling would have been midnight over in London

Thanks to you guys we knew it was a scam as the phone number is (02) 5616 0105 and they flooded our call centre with trying different numbers, all to which were not answered.

Have had several calls from this number, they normally ask for the business owner (who does not work in the business) by his first name, and when I tell them hes unavailable they hang up without providing firther details.

The seccond most recent call before telling him the person he was looking for wasnt in I asked who was calling, and the response is that he was calling from "Horizon". I asked what the call was in regards to, and he replied he needed to speak to the business owner (again reffering to him by name). As soon as I said that that person was unavailable and how could I help, he hung up on me.

Less than 10 mins later, he called again, same voice same accent.. This time I was a little smarter in my probe for info. I allowed him to believe I was about to transfer his call but just needed some information incase the line got disconnected.
He gave me these details;

At this point I questioned why did he hang up on me a few minutes ago, he claimed he didnt. I told him he was calling from the same number that just hung up on me, to which he claimed hundreds of companies use that number as it is a voip service, I told him he has the same voice as the last call, and that fortunateley, the same company name too..
He asked me if the company owner was here again by name, and I said no, but how can I help, he said I cant, he must speak to the company owner, to which I instructed that if he is going to telemarket to australia, he needs to be upfront about his return contact details instead of spoofing a non returnable voip number, and hanging up when asked, otherwise he is in breach of ACMA outbound calling requirements, besides just being an irritant in general. He told me he would call back another time, and I requested he didnt, and then hung up.

I tried to call the 1800 number which does go through to a message bank that appears to be for horizon

I just had a call from this number wanting personal details of one of our employees. Wouldn't tell me who they were, but I can't imagine our employees would be happy if we gave our their personal details.

Missed a call from this number, tried to call back but didn't even ring before disconnecting. Possibly a scam line.

Had 2 missed calls from this number, as I thought New South Wales number don't begin with 025, thought would have a look. If they call back, I will just tell them where to go

Missed a call today, 5th October 15, at 11.11am on my mobile phone. Did not recognise number. Looked it up. Looks like it is a scam pretending to be different companies. Now blocked on my mobile.

This number has been calling Optus, giving my details as the ID check information and one of our phone numbers as a reference in order to request IMEI unlocks for mobile phones

so far this afternoon they have rang twice allowing one ring then hang up.....does anyone know what the deal is with this one

They just phoned and asked for me by name,saying they were security department with NAB and had I made any overseas transaction to New Zealand. I laughed and said f..k off cause I don't have a NAB card. Scammers

Today I received a call, they told me they were from Green Solar selling solar Panels.

Phone call from Telstra Technical Department Lady called Jenny Williams (very distinct Indian accent), I asked her outright was she a scammer... she spoke over the top of me telling me they were going to terminate my internet connection today. Am I sitting in front of my computer, Yes of course I was, she wanted to show me where the problem was so Telstra could help. As they were Telstra told Jenny she could put it into an email and send to me and I would have my IT personnel fix the problem. She denied with vigour that she was a scammer...
