Scam, Automated message saying they are Pay Pal and have received a confirmation about x amount of dollars $ for a purchase. If this is incorrect please……

I received a email from someone with paypay.com email address about paying an invoice for an item I did not buy. I called the number (02) 5016 2430) as the email said to call it to report to paypal. A woman with an accent took my call and she asked me for the invoice number. I realised that it was a scam so I hung up.
