I also receive calls from this number (02) 4971 3530. I have rung the number back and recorded message says its Martin & Hunt P/L. Thanks for your information on this. Will be blocking that number.

I get same to me, call me constantly fron no. 49721080, when I answer just hang. Up , I can back and get recorded message

Received two calls today from (02) 4972 1080 and called back MARTIN AND HUNT have now blocked the number.
I get fed up with telemarketers and scammers now only answer numbers I know. If it is important leave a message.
My DO NOT DISTURB is now active on my phone all day,then they can't get through only family and friends.

I just got a call from this 4972 1080 number and when I called it back I got an answering machine for Martin & Hunt Pty Ltd
so glad I checked it out on the website, judging from above though the number is now 4972 not 4971

Looks like the number they are using now is (02) 4972 1080.

well looks like they still doing it... I have been called 3 times in the last 2 days, they hang up as soon as you answer.. I never call back, now i don't answer ..

This company has called my mobile a number of times and didn't leave a message. I returned the call thinking that it must be urgent.... there's no one answering the phone it goes direct to a voicemail message and then drops out. Then I google the name of the company and a website comes up that tells me absolutely nothing - it ambiguous and miss leading.

They keep calling me tellingthey want to give me some government benigits regarding tax. When i ask them to give me website so that i can access information, she said we dont have website. Well ii fid not take me a sec to recognise its a scam. And i hung up saying i m busy

Hi Jon In some of the older posts it states two addresses Unit A 2 Resiliance Drive Tuggerah and another in Gorokan 81 Brennon Road. I have received a number of calls, even calling back to ask that they not call, only to receive another call a week later. Have lodged a complaint with ACMA and also ASIC who are the regulatory body for the ABN listed against that company.
I called the business associated with the address in Tuggerah and advised them that their address was associated with a number making these scam calls, and that a complaint had been lodged with the ACMA. Perhaps they are innocent in all of this but too coincidental that they are both addresses in Tuggerah.
Hopefully with both of those complaints lodged, they might buzz off.

You can look up martin and hunt pty ltd at creditorwatch.com.au website. It gives you a bit of information including names and addresses of two directors. With some snooping around you could potentially find their phone no and ask them politely to stop calling you. That usually works :0)

I have a private number, yet these guys keep on calling me.
If I can find out where their offices are, I will be paying them a visit in person and ensuring that they don't ever dare call me again.

The number left said Sovereign Marketing but when I rang the number back it said Martin & Hunt. Rang the ACMA (Australian Consumer & Marketing) but cant do anything about it as they are calling our business mobile. It was suggested I write a 'nice' letter requesting that they stop pestering or further action will be taken. Guess if we all do that they will be deluged and perhaps might desist. You can place your number on the 'Do Not call Register' if your number is private. The other option suggested was to call your service provider and ask them to block it. Blocking from your phone does not work as call centres can simply "call from another extension", as ACMA advised.

Got a call (02) 4971 3530... i missed it and googled about it.. found to be a lawyer.. rang back to verify it... It says "Martin and Hunt pty ltd".. just blocked it now...!!!

My phone didd not ring!!! However a "missed call" showed up on my "Recent" list. They cannot even bother to let the call go through but expect that you will call back. Really bad marketing.

Listed as Martin and Hunt, Have no idea how they aquired my number, Several missed call notices, I returned the calls, each time recorded message saying ''all our operators are busy''. Not sure what scam they are trying, I have a recollection of a previous scam a few years ago about tax refunds and Government rebates, I've lodged too many tax returns via accountants to fall for it but they were persistant,
