Two calls which I think are related. First, an unanswered call from (02) 4937 3561. Then 1 minute later a recorded message left on my voicemail, they said from a telco(? name unclear). Apparently my internet connection had been 'compromised', in several countries, and I should press '1 now' to be transferred to a technical person. The scenario is rubbish, don't press 1 or call them back, It's a scam.

Caller: A scammer looking for gullible people to give them money

Scam call with a prerecorded message saying they are from Telstra and they will disconnect the phone, the message tells you to press a button to talk to someone, don't press any buttons, just hang up.

Received 2 calls from this number is quick succession. the first call went to voice mail the second call was answered. Both were a recorded message stating it was from Telstra and that the nbn line was compromised. Asked me to press 1 to be transferred to a technician. I did not press 1. I did try to ring the number back straight away but is was not available.

recorded message claimng to be from telstra advising the internet will be shut down.
THe reason given is our ip address has been compromised in several different countries.
