Pretty sure it's nib, requested for nib to call over internet then immediately this number rang me, I'm spinning out mannnnn!!!! Don't even. Know how they got my number..... My oldest son used to be an NIB customer until they stuffed things up at tax time last year. I was recorded as a contact - still no reason to be contacted by them. Also getting calls from NIB after getting a quote online, they must have my number on recall as I get about 5 calls a week. For a well known company this is a very low class and is not winning you any points with a lot of people. Yep. I got it too. Checked out quote and get a phone call 30 mins later. Come on NIB give me a chance to shop around first...Far out! NIB Health Insurance confirmed. I was checking out their cover and asked for a quote. I did not ask for a phone call. Stupid marketing approach. *sigh*

Thanks for the advice re NIB. I visited the Website the other day and have now received two calls in the space of two minutes. Answered the first one and it then dialled back into their call centre (but I hung up before it could answer their end ... if at all); ignored the second. I just got a call from this number today and what do you know, I also am a NIB customer, and I used the website a few days ago to get a quote because i was possibly interested in increasing my existing cover. I also chose my preferred method contact as email and yet was forced to put my contact number in the form field.
I just put in feedback on their websites preferred method contact "options" and about their poor and underhanded behavior. Surprisingly, though the form contact details section is very similar to the online quote, I didnt have to put in a phone number this time..
We will see what happens.....
So annoying!! I am already a customer with NIB but was looking at couples' health insurance so of course I had to put my phone number in! Clearly I'm already a customer guys and clearly I wasn't interested in the couples' options I saw!! Rack off!! They've called 3 times today between 10am and 4pm ... Yes agree. Just visited their website to get a quote.

Answer and the line is dead. And yes I just joined NIB Unlike other Private Health websites, you MUST enter your number to get a quote from NIB.
Not a word of a lie, two minutes after I entered the number, they called.
My words were "are you joking? I haven't even had a chance to look at any of your packages, and you are already attacking me?!"
Surely they should be giving a person fifteen minutes at the very least, before they pounce?
They ring 4 times then hang up. Then ring back to background noise & hang up. Pain in the arse. Yes, they just rang once then hung up??? got call from them but nothing heard voice then hang up Sane here miss called It is NIB's number in Sydney It is NIB customer service. If you call the number back, it is impossible to find the one that called you. Got a call. Answered and they hung up.
