They're (ANZ), pranking everyone so they don't have to pay for the phone call.

Methinks ANZ have a few too many Indians working in their "what can we come up with to jack up profits?" department...

Also an ANZ customer, first call I have had from them was today, didn't bother answering.. I'll be blocking the number after reading the above comments from everyone.

Being an ANZ customer seems to be a recurring theme. So now its this number and the Melbourne number (AMEX offer).

OK they hung up on me on the 10th March. Today they called, I answered and they asked for me by name. I said this is she, may I ask who's calling and THEN they hung up...so rude...now I know how telemarketing people feel. I feel like calling the number back just to hang up on him.lol

I rang them back and put them on hold ... come back to them from time to time to tell them that I won't be long ... at the end I just hang up!

I have had several calls from this number and today I answered and they hung up. I am an ANZ customer so I will have a chat to them about removing me from any lists they have added me to without my consent.

Above are all the reasons I hate giving anyone my mobile number - ANZ has shunted my number to house insurance offers - life insurance offers - bombarded with invites for credit cards i don't want - text messages ..........

Call on my mobile, it just hung up when I answered. Reading the other posts I'm a Anz customer too. If it turns out to be what others have written I'm going to call my bank and let them know.

Didn't bother answering. Just immediately Googled the number. Only know a couple of people in NSW and they come up on my contact list. I'm supposed to be on the do not call register. Big flipping joke that is

Just had a call from them. They hung up as soon as I answered.

Phone call from ANZ discussing Super and other insurance offers. Finally answered it earlier this week after about 3 days of missed calls. Told them that I didn't want a call back, that I would call them if I wanted to proceed further with any offer...and then today...another call! So annoyed with them!

ANZ insurance offer......DISGUSTING CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! They just ring and hang up. In the last 2 weeks I have had this number call me 5 times. The first two times I answered and then they hung up on me straight away. The third time the agent did talk to me but I was in the middle of something so politely asked him to call me back. Today I have received two calls, both asking for me by name, but then pretending they couldn't hear me, and then they hung up. This is so dodgy, out of 5 calls, only one of them could "hear" me. And obviously this is happening consistently, as per the previous comments on here. ANZ you have some employees that are letting you down badly.

yep keep getting calls from this number, haven't answered as they don't leave a message.

I am overseas and totally pissed off as the have called me every day!!!!! Now have set night settings so the don't wake me up. I will have a piece of them when I return to Australia!!!!!
