Received a call from this number this afternoon. It was the ANZ bank call centre selling insurance. Advised them I was on the Do Not Call Register and did not wish to be contacted. I have also submitted a complaint toe the Do Not Call Register.

It's a scam, offering ANZ's RecoverWell insurance.

Don't confirm anything and hang up.

If they e-mail you, delete it and do not click any links contained within.

Received a call from this number today and they hung up when answered. I telephoned and it went to voicemail saying it was ANZ looking to offer an insurance product. Reading these comments and those on another site, I have blocked this number.
I am on the do not call register so am extremely angry with ANZ (my bank) on the probable release of my contact details to unknown third parties. I do not consider their insurance / investment arm worthy of receiving my private information.
Why has ANZ been permitted to do this?

Have just spent 27 minutes and 40 seconds on the phone with 'Terry'. I listened to his wrap and came to the point where he wanted my bank account or credit card info. I said no, not over the phone. I said I would read the email that he said he had sent which as of now as I write I have not received. They had an answer for every scenario or example I gave. Beware

Just received a call from this number from "Jason". Am an ANZ customer. They asked me if I had received information from ANZ recently, as I'm a loyal customer of over 9 years. Told them I wasn't interested & hung up.

Have received several calls from this number. Have not answered.

Just spoke to Bank they don't know anything about this number Please don't call them or give them any info to this number she told me if anz bank ring they give out their name if we don't answer they leave a message

I've had several calls from this number over the last few weeks and like others have been hung up on when I did answer. I have now blocked the number in the hopes they won't call again.

Just received a call from this number, I didn't answer as I did not know who it was. I can also say I am a ANZ customer also, the number only rang for roughly 5 seconds.

Have had 6 calls from them today.....when I answer they hang up....thanks for posting these comments as I would not have know about this!!

Just rec'd a call from the number and hung up, according to the link below scammers often do this. Don't call them back.

Yes, I got tagged by them a while back and entered Do Not Answer to their number. Heard nothing from them since that time. Last week removed the list and within days, they began phoning me. Are they able to hack a mobile phones data base?

I just missed a call from this number. I am not calling them back but blocking the number thanks to the people here. I probably have blocked over 5 ANZ numbers since I became their customer. So annoying!

Thanks ANZ for passing my contact details on to onepath. I'm so closing my account and transferring my funds elsewhere. BTW onepath is a wholly owned subsidiary of ANZ that handles subprime products that ANZ themselves would prefer to keep off their balance sheets. Avoid at all costs.

This number is not ANZ, it is a hoax, dont play.

Received two phone calls from this number trying to sell an ANZ product called recover well. Told them that I wasn't interested and had to repeat myself a three times. In the end I just said good bye and hung up.

Will need to block this number on my mobile.
