This number has called me (so far!) 4 times in less than an hour. Each time I've picked up the phone and said nothing as I like to let them wonder what's going on :D but nothing, just silence for a couple of seconds then they hang up.

Caller: Scammers

Called my unlisted home phone FOURTEEN TIMES in a four hour window! When I called back after the first couple the displayed number is not connected.
Definitely scammers calling from a spoofed number (because why would a legitimate caller want to hide their return contact information if they missed you?)

Caller: Internet scam

A Indian sounding male called Michael Jones from Telstra. Said there was a problem with our internet. My husband argued with him that he wasn’t from Telstra. So he put his female Indian sounding supervisor on the phone. My husband enjoyed his five minutes of fun.

Caller: same number

Fake Telstra scam. If you let them talk long enough they will try to convince you that your internet will be turned off unless you go to your computer and eventually download remote access software so they can hack you.

Caller: Scam - Telstra Support

Three calls today, each time saying that Internet is insecure and that it will turned off for three weeks. Tried to convince caller that I was actually the Victorian Police and he said “bullsh*t” so I hung up on him for a change.

Similar complaint to the above on rarely used home phone. Multiple calls in short space of time. Haven’t picked up due to this helpful scam monitoring site

Have called everyday for the past 2 weeks. Never leave a message and if you pick up and say nothing they will just hang up. If you speak they will tell you that you have a internet issue and get quite angry when you tell them that everything is fine. Ask them to repeat their name and company and they will hang up on you.

This number called me four times in two hours today. three times they hung up when I answered, on one occasion he responded saying he was from Telstra and there was going to be a disruption to the Internet. It was clearly a scam

They never give up ... all above plus when you check the CID number Telstra says it has been disconnected... I told the chap in no uncertain terms what he could do and don't even try and rip me off as I am so far ahead of you criminals t's not funny...

Has phoned multiple times but but doesn't say anything when you answer, then hangs up

Calling every day. Sometimes 3 or 4 times in 2 hours Tim from Telstra. Looking to help with hacked computer. Ha Ha.

Has called 4 times in the last hour or two.... wont leave a message.....

Rang every 15 minutes on Good Friday. We have CND so knew who kept ringing. I got so sick of it I picked up & without giving them a chance to speak I shouted "Look will you just F**K OFF!!" Haven't heard from them since.
I did check on here prior to the above - they've rung many times previously.

Called all through Easter Good Friday and Saturday (today). Pick up the phone to silence then hang up. No doubt a scammer. Should be blocked Australia wide for nuisance value at least.

This number is calling at least 5-6 times a day, each day. I have let it go to voicemail each time but they do not leave a message so I have now blocked the number.

Called various times today and never leave a message. Number not connected. Scammers! It was a different number last week and another different number the week before.

said he was Kane Wilson from Telstra. Gave me an ID D00515. Told me my internet was going to be off for a week! Couldn't understand why I would be upset about that!

This number called me twice within 3 hours. They manage to call through my Telstra "Call Guardian" system when I'm not home and leave no voicemail message. When I phone the number back I got "Optus advises that this number has been disconnected". How are Optus and Telstra letting a disconnected number call out? Obviously spam or some kind of con artists if they want to make sure you can't get back to them, a legitimate business/charity/political/survey company wouldn't need to be unreachable.

Same thing only about 10 times today

I am also receiving calls from this number every hour; I don’t bother picking up the phone.
