Scam - same message as above - 'contact the department(?) on this number otherwise you will be arrested. Mongrels probably con older, vulnerable people! Don't even bother ringing back!

Block this number. Recorded message scam. If they want to scam Australians, why do don't they reference Australian agencies rather than American ones. Stupid.

Claiming to be the ATO filing a lawsuit against me. This is a scam

Caller: Said the were Australian Taxation Office

As soon as I said I prefer not to give them my name as I do everything through my accountant they hung up

Don't know anyone at Penrith NSW so treated it as a scam. Certainly didn't call back.

I didn’t answer this number because I didn’t trust it - I let it go to message bank and no message left. Other posts on this number confirm it’s a scam

This is a scam. The caller left a message saying that a warrant has been issued and I need to contact them asap. I deleted the message and blocked the number.
Do not respond.

Was rung with automated response saying something about tax and it is time sensitive and if you didn't respond there would be a warrant for your arrest.
