automated call saying ATO tax debt to be repaid

Scam call pretending to be from the ATO

My daughter received this call. This forum helped me explain this as spam

Caller: Scam call from ‘ATO’

Computer generated message from the ATO about multiple returns being filed in my name - hung up as very obviously a scammer

Automated message stating had to call back or an arrest warrant would be issued.
SCAM - Do not return call and importantly never engage in conversation with any person phoning making this claim especially when they start asking for money (Too many people are being tricked by these scammers)

I let it ring out. automated voice message was left on my message bank saying i needed to call back or there would be a warrant out for me 😂, deffinately a spam call trying to get the victims voice patterns

Said I had a lawsuit against me and I would be arrested in a pre-recorded message. I have put the kettle on and are waiting the police department as I type!

Caller: Scammer claiming to be the tax office

Recorded message in American accent telling me it's the tax office and there's a warrant for my arrest and to call them back, which I didn't do because I knew it was a scam.

They pretended to be ato officers and told me I had troubles with taxes

Said that I was in trouble with the police because of taxes

Caller: Tax office???

Left a computer generated voice message saying I have a lawsuit being filed under my name and if I didn’t contact them on the number provided an arrest warrant will be issued. Didn’t get the start of where they were from but sounded as taxation office. Blocked the number.
