Caller: Robo-dialling fraudster

Yeah they ring up, I pick it up but don't answer, they hang up a few seconds later. Purpose is to get you on a list of active numbers so they can ring you from a different number later. So much for the ACMA's feeble attempt to stop these thieving scumbag nuisances, you're pathetic you really are.

Scam caller. I only picked up because it said Katoomba.

Just another scam caller, keep the number by your phone. If you pick up don't speak-the call is voice activated. Telstra must be making money from spam calls or surely they would be stopped, nuisance calls are after all illegal in this country.

Have set up phone so unknown numbers go straight to my voicemail. They didn't leave a message and going on other comment I won't bother calling back.

Caller: A nameless wonder

The call was identified as coming from Katoomba - no-one answered, and a few seconds later an automated voice says "Good Bye"
I have blocked the number.
Just this morning I have received 2 scam calls from 0400 621 599 as well as 0401 565 0409. One says its from eBay and that I have been charged 4300 or $500 from my account, the other something similar. Just put a block the numbers.

The thing is how do you know its a scam when the number calls you? This is ridiculous - why can't this be stopped. Now I am going to get calls from all these other numbers that I have to go and block. I am thinking of never answering my phone and if there is no message then bad luck - pretty bad as it is a work phone.

Both my husband and I received calls from a Katoomba number. We didn't pick up and no messages were left.

Caller: Dodgy

Missed the call, my phone also says from Katoomba. So I tried to call back, but each time just says busy. Something dodgy about this number - just blocked it!

I Picked up, It said the number was from Katoomba then when I said hello? 2 seconds later it sounded like an automated message saying “goodbye” and the call ended. Tried calling back but user busy..

I also tried to call back, dead number.. scammers for sure

Didn't bother to answer. Yet another pest call from unknown numbers

I tried to call back the number (02) 4708 7013 but the person who picked up the phone disconnected the call
