Scammers, however I may a little about computers and curious, so I entertained the call, let him log into a blank linux box I setup a few hours earlier for some testing, on a private sandboxed network, after 40 minutes I could not contain my self any longer, and revealed myself, in which he threatened to lock my computer, so I gave him the admin password, he couldn't figure out Linux and hung up in frustration - one of their Teamviwer is 1165934906 ;D

stated to be from Telstra and said my NBN connection was to be disconnected for 14 days whilst they corrected a major technical issue. When challenged , caller got aggressive and rang back 3 x

Caller: Supposedly Telstra

Rang to tell me that a scammer from overseas is trying to infiltrate our system. the girl handed me over to a 'supervisor' I said how do I know for sure that you are telstra calling, he gave me a huge big long license number, but wouldn't give me a direct number to call him for me to confirm he was from telstra. He was getting annoyed with me, told him didn't feel right and hung up - rang the number....disconnected! what a shock.

A woman saying that she was from Telstra. They called my work number, so obviously they aren't just targetting residential numbers.
She told me that our computer system had been tampered with and to expect a large internet bill, but don't worry you don't need to pay it. Told me to go to the router and check the number of lights that were flickering, I told her to wait and hung up. She called back another 2 times, but I just hung up.

Again claiming to be Technical Dept of Telstra, when challenged, she became agrresive

Said he was from Telstra and was ringing to say our internet was about to be disconnected.

Said he was from Telstra! I said "No you are not!" He said "go F*** yourself" and hung up.
Rude arrogant lying scammer!!!!

Never said who they were from - just that my computer was about to be disconnected and would have to ring back to connect with supplier. 5 calls in 2 days. Also same game being played by 0428 445 450 and 0840881783.

Said he was from Telstra and was ringing to say our internet was about to be disconnected, then asked if I was a business, when I said "yes" he hung up. We are not with Telstra.
