Claimed to be from Do Not Call Register and started asking questions about direct debits and credit card expiry dates at which point I hung up. Lady had a very strong Indian accent.

Lots of background noise and no one actually answered, so hung up and blocked the number

Received a call from some Indian lady, making accusations but no idea who d FK they are

Caller disconnected without talking.

Maybe we have to answer in a frail voice so that they think we will be an easy target for a scam??

you can hear 'call centre' crooks in background making calls; my guess from india. This time (yes, several calls received over a few weeks) my request for scammer to wobble his head and utter golly golly was met with threat from scammer to send 10 men around to kill me, ha! My response? Watch y'self on y'way home d*ck-head, I've got somebody looking for ya!

Caller: They said they were from Telstra updating the Do Not Call Register to stop those annoying telemarketers

When I would not confirm if I paid by direct debit the first caller (indian male) became very insistent and I laughed, he asked why did I laugh and I said I know this is a scam and he became very angry and told me F... You Mrs. ..... F... You and hung up. This call was about 2 weeks ago. Today I got another call same story, this time an asian female. She accepted possibly as my answer about direct debit and went on to ask for the expiry year of my credit card. I told her she wouldn't get that and she became very insistent. I told her I know this is a scam the last one told me to F off. She became very nasty and told my F... Off You Bitch F... Off Your Bitch and disconnected the call.

Called a few minutes ago. Didn't answer. Now blocked

I answered, said hello 4 times, nobody spoke could hear breathing then hung up after being on the line for 49 seconds

Called my silent number, reached message bank. Did not leave a message.

Number not known ... did not answer. No message left. Probably a scammer?

Hung up on me when I answered. 6pm

Claimed to be from the Do Not Call register and you could tell they were reading from a script. I told them where to go no so politely and they hung up.

Supposedly form 'Do not call register' and wanted to verify details regarding address & how the phone account is paid

Claimed to be from fraud squad!

I called back number (02) 4565 9874 rang once then gets disconnected automatically.

The answering machine beat me so they did not leave a message
