Was contacted by Leslie on (02) 4302 6965 stating that she was from Custodian Investments that was a Financial Advisement Services that was providing a free seminar. Leslie went on to indicate the time and place of a seminar near my location. While asking if I wished to attend she interlaced the conversation with statements and questions that suggested that this would be beneficial for me.

When I queried as to why I may have tried to contact this organisation Leslie stated that my contact details were obtained from one of the following :-

- List Brokers,
- Yellow Pages, and,
- White Pages.

This phone number originated from around the Gosford, NSW area although the websites custodian.com.au and www.jlf.com.au indicate a Head Office in Nerang, Qld with phone numbers of 1800 174 999 (07) 5527 4999 and (07) 5527 4955 associated to that location.

The web site indicates "Custodian - Invest Different" the voice message at 1800 174 999 states "Custodian Wealth Builders and Investloan"

Having done a search on the internet I came across two interesting articles :-

My view is that this is a nuisance call where people contact you and try to push you into buying financial products that you didn't want to know about in the first pace. But having read these two articles I think it is best the I upgrade this call type from Telemarketer to Scam status.

I called back number (02) 4302 6965 it says the number I have dialed is not in service anymore.
