I called back number (02) 4208 0334 reached voice mail but did not say for what company.

Caller: Unsure but related to some travel 'deal'

When I called this number back, someone answered and called me by my name, not the company name. They had a spiel about checking my details before continuing and told me not to get excited but I had done very well for myself. Stated I would be able to travel in the next 12 months where I cut her off and asked for my details to be removed from their contact list. I am guessing they collect details from competitions entered or the like

Called it back and a recorded message advised that it was an outbound telephone service only; i.e. no inbound calls accepted.

Same thing happened - I've won a trip to Florida apparently. Didn't verify my details but she said that she had the right person. I hung up with her mid-sentence and have blocked the number. Seems they're calling from a few different ones.

I’ve had this call twice now and the same woman who just keeps talking in an irritating yank accent insisting that I’ve won a trip to Florida. A pain in the a@&$.

Ellen from (02) 4208 0334 and (02) 4208 0036 from Wollongong keeps calling me saying I have won a holiday to Florida.
Ellen doesn't draw a breathe. She knows my email and DOB. She said I have visited "a page on the internet". I keep asking her to stop talking and take my name off her list but she just keeps talking. So I just keeping hanging up. I called the number back once and she answered straight away and called me by name and just kept talking. Will block the number now.

Caller: Travel company

I had exactly the same thing happen to me. This woman went into practically a song and told me to get my partner on the line but wanted me to confirm my date of birth and email address.

Don’t pick up - it’s a nuisance call.

Caller: A woman who would not identify

They called. Spoke that fast would not stop talking when I asked her. She then wanted me to identify myself which I wouldn’t and she would not state where she is from Scammers

Telemarketing - says from Wollongong but is from an overseas call centre trying to sell stuff. Avoid.

Claimed I had won a holiday for 4 to Disneyworld Florida with accommodation at Daytona Beach for 4 nights and 3 days, however, I was required to provide credit card details and make a one off payment of USD244 x 2, ie USD488. I refused to provide credit details over the phone, but they did know my DOB and email address. Claimed I had “liked” a page on FB. Very dodgy - be careful. I hung up on the callers.
