Dodgy.... caller claimed I won a trip to Disney Land

Caller: Super chirpy woman who called herself Janet

They said I’d won a competition for a trip to Florida that I never entered. Wanted personal information and wanted over $200 for some sort of service fee. Total scam! Hung up and blocked the number!

I called back number (02) 4208 0324 reached voice mail but did not say for what company

Call from Wollongong. I answered but didn’t speak while he said hello hello then hung up . Number now blocked

Hung up before I could answer and didn't leave a voice mail. I googled the number and found this web site and found the number probably a scammer.

Missed call from this number, no voicemail. Ran through reverse call Australia and found this entry.

Calls from 2 different 02 4...numbers. from wollongong. I blocked the first then they used a different number. Noone answered on either number.
They just ring then hang up

Many phone calls over the past few days. That is 30 Oct 2019 to 31 Oct 2019. I never answer and they never leave a message. Phone nimber is from Wollongong. I have simply blocked the number.

Caller: Some female.

Bubbly female voice told me I had won a trip to Florida, told them I don't recall entering the competition they were talking about. They had my e-mail address but wanted to verify some other personal details. Days later I had an e-mail from a business telling me they had a security breach and the culprits obtained the last 4 digits of my credit card. Not sure if the 2 incidents are connected. They may as well give them the remaining numbers of my credit card as that card was cancelled long ago!!

Tried calling back outbound call.Its a Scam!

Call from 'Wollongong', I could not answer and there was no message left.

Called back. Phone did not even ring and they answered with my name so I hung up and blocked them.

They tried to get my credit card details only the 4 digits number and claimed they will send me some travel package to Disney !
Not sure what is going on ?!

Says they had a package to deliver, but when asked where they were calling from refused to answer and said they would call back. Needless to say they didn't.

The Yankee called about me going to use it is a voice recording boughs scam dangerous block the number

Keep getting calls from ‭(02) 4208 0324‬ but they hang up after about 5 seconds.

Really bloody annoying

Told me I had won a holiday and wanted me to "verify my details"
