Called back, claimed to be the Australian Taxation Office.

i have also received the call from (02) 4047 9243 1st june 2018 12pm - looks like fraud recorded message

This number claimed to be the ATO - It's a scam! Don't call back.

Caller: Scammer - male with Indian accent claiming to be "Franklin Benjamin" from the ATO

Left voicemail claiming tax avoidance and the matter would be taken to "the local courthouse" if I did not comply and return his call.

Called himself "Franklin Benjamin" which was pretty funny. He sounded very serious. But it was comedy gold.

It happened the same to me today 31 May 2018....

ATO Scam with a recorded message saying I was under fraud investigation and to contact them back on another number. SCAMMMM

Received a call from this number today. as soon as you answer you get this serious
message voice playback. mine sound more american than Indian, but was on about the same thing. tax avoidance.
Police should track this number and arrest the caller.

Just got a call from Franklin Benjamin - we all seem to be under legal complaint from ATO... if you’re unsure call the ATO directly and ask for our mate Franklin Benjamin and not the return number mentioned. But it seems to be a scam.

Just picked up a voicemail after a missed call from this number, TOTAL SCAM! You should report as spam and block this number.

Caller says something like "the reason for this call is that tax fraud has been committed under your name." Yeah right...

Same number, claimed that I broke ATO law

I got a call from this number on 1 June 2018. It must be a scam.

My wife just got an harassing call from these guys saying they're from the ATO and a warrant is out for her arrest. ...She must call back etc. As a stage 4 cancer patient my wife doesn't need this extra stress - Please report this number to the police!
