Scammers trying to hack Amazon accounts. Do not return the call. Delete & block. Police are investigating

Caller: I received a text.

"Your Order Successfully Placed, AMZ#104-6ST1077 Amt. ¤2099.00 for Apple MacBook Pro [33cm] M1 on 2021-05-19, Call TFN: (02) 4017 0252 if any query, Thank you" text received. I called the number and got a foreign call centre. I said I just received a text message stating I placed an order for a mac book pro which I didn't. He asked for my details and I said I am concerned about fraudulent activity so I don't want to give my details. He yelled saying 'you won't give me your name, what is this?' And I repeated my original enquiry. He hung up on me. Absolutely seems like phishing scam. My accounts are all fine etc.

Scam?!!

I received the same thing saying my order had been received for an Apple MacBook Pro today 19th May 2021 from moble 0403 919 456 and to call (02) 4017 0252 for queries - these scams are becoming so common!

I got exactly the same message from 0432 344 597

Same as above - txt msg from 0434 556 024 saying I had place an order for $2099 Apple MacBook Pro and to call this number. Order number started with AMZ - is this Amazon? Surprisingly (or not) this msg came about 3 hours after I had a package delivered from Amazon (which I had actually ordered)...........

Scam callback number. Report and Block

I got one this morning!!!

I got a message claiming my order was placed for a Canon camera $2199.95 on 18-5-2921. Said to call this number if any query.

Number in an SMS message about a Mac Book purchase. The number answers but asking questions they hang up. SMS came from 0413 846 761

Said I had an Amazon order for a Mac. Click on the phone number would probably take into a phishing site, which I didn't do.

This number was quoted as a call number in a scam text message from 0481 704 901.

I supposedly ordered a camera. I DID NOT. Rang the number and a foreign voice put me on hold, then timed out. Probably a SCAM.

Got a message stating order placed successfully forcamera worth $2199 Included phone number to call back if any problems

Obviously some form of scam.
They sent a text from 0434 161 344, saying I'd ordered a $1300 camera call this number (02) 4017 0252 if I had a problem.
Yeah, right!

Text received "Your Order Successfully Placed, AMZ#707-1VG1512 Amt. $2199.95 against Canon E0S R6 HD Camera on 2021-05-18, Call TFN: (02) 4017 0252 if any query, Thank you" I have not placed any order for a camera. I've searched on various parts of this message with no success. Looks like a scam to me.

Their text was something about ordering a MacBook for $2099. I’ve ordered nothing .

I got a message about a camera purchase from this number. I think it’s spam!!
