I called back the number (02) 1116 9987, rang twice then routed to voice mail Claimed that I had given permission to a previous caller to be contacted for "investment opportunities". Was persistent for my email, when questioned about the investments he became vague and repetitive about bonds and shares, I asked what country he was from he said Sydney??, he said something derogatory in Indian when I asked too many questions and told him my email was 123F*ckyou @ gmail.com haha then he kept saying 123 f*ck you ..... Asian speaking rawt nothing more nothing less! Same experience as others have posted - very persistent trying to get e-mail address and saying phoning because a colleague working with the caller has called previously and I have said I am interested in investing (which is not true) When I explained clearly I had no money to waste or invest with him he kinda hung up but really the line was still open and the caller was joking with others working in the call centre (not very smart - avoid as much as possible) I've had a couple of calls, no reply when I returned them, now on the black list I answered, heard what sounded like an office or call centre in the background before they hung up. didnt reply app dont always block them.!
Called by someone on the (02) 1116 9987 number, Indian accent, no introduction of self but offering a vague company name. Same intention as others have stated; claiming to have been in contact previously and calling again to verify email address and continue a fake correspondence about investing. Knew my name straight off the bat.
Curious as to why the government and telcos aren’t monitoring these guys to penalise them for fraudulent claims and intent.
Female caller with Indian accent stating that she got my details from her collegue "Anna Nicholls". Stating she had an investment opportunity and wanted to email me details. Same calls that have been received previously from disconnected mobile phones. When I called the number back it was disconnected as per previous calls from disconnected mobile numbers. they keep ringing but have them blocked, definitely dodgey ,never seen a number like that before in OZ Scam Caller: (02) 1116 9987
Add to my ✅DNA contact list.
Next time they ring I don’t answer. It goes to voicemail.
Caller: A lovely Indian (full of lies tho)

They have been consistently calling claiming to be an investment company and wanting my email address. And they wonder why they give their country and their people a bad name
