This happened to me yesterday about 5 times. They keep calling and calling saying that someone in my houshold had an accident recently. They are call centre as I can hear others talking in the background. I the first one my daughter answered and she said that the man said some naughty things to her. The next 4 I answered and three different spoke to me. One asian, one India and one english

Scam phone calls about insurance/car accident. As I had just looked up the phone number. I replied to the 2nd caller and told him he was a scam, he said "So what, Yes I am". Didn't care, even when I mentioned the police. Told him to get a real job like the rest of us and hung up on him.

Guy rings and says "I have a message that someone there had a car accident". I said "Yeah. I say carload of Indian telescammers driving along so I ran them off a cliff." He must have been quite pleased with that response as he then offered to come over and sex with me (although he put it a little more crudely)

A girl named Karen called from this number and said she from some car insurance company for injury compensation. I didn't have all the details of the previous car accident and told her to call back later. Which she did but I still didn't have all the detail but I wanted to know more about which company she was from and gave a vague answer (the first time I couldn't hear cause the line was bad and didn't want to be impolite). Everything I asked was uninformed and just vague answers or up-selling the fact that its free money. I was confused about why if she worked with my insurance company that she wouldn't have the details of the accident or why I was claiming something without my knowledge.
I'm calling my car insurance company tomorrow to confirm my suspicions.

Caller (a women - sounded of Indian origin) told me someone at my address had a car accident a while back. I asked them where they were calling from and they said Parramatta. They had my name and address as she read it out to me. Sounded dodgy from the outset and I tried to get as much info out of her before I got bored and hung up. Obvious scam of some sort.
A similar one is where they ring up (same call centre sound in the background) and tell you that someone in your house had an issue with their computer recently...

I had the same call as above. The person said This is Michael from car accident advice. You had a car accident some time ago. I told him no he had the wrong number and hung up. Then he rang back 5 minutes later I answered the phone and said hello and there was no answer. This is a scam.

"This is Michael from car accident advice. You had a car accident a while back, right?" I said "no" he said "that's too bad". I hung up. Called again and called me a stupid bastard. I have reported to police. Call centre sounds like India

Call from Insurance company based in either Phillipines or India. Asking if you're in a recent Car accident and would like to process your claim. Dont Trust them.
