The best way to get rid of these pests is to tell them your Penis was severed and can they help get it re attached and I find that does the trick as they hang up fast

this scam is annoyong to say the least ...when the number pops up on your phone be ready ...the top reply is answer the phone with " QBE Insurance , can I help you... " or " are you ringing about the car accident ... they say how did you know and you say " its a gift Ive had since the accident " . They are extremely rude when put on the defensive as well ...

Been getting scammers calling all week about computer virus crap...so I have been quite aware of messing with their heads....then today a new one rang claiming the same insurance scam everyone else is talking about. Same deal but ended conversation with.....'oh is it about the accident I had in Perth?' They replied with 'Yes sir'. I said 'you people are liars as I've never been to Perth' and hung up.

Just a call from a man with the name of Ryan yet could hardly speak English. He told me he was from Claim Advisor Services at first, he was inquiring about a car accident i was in recently. Funny thing was we had a car come through our front yard a couple of months ago and i was getting quotes today from a landscaper to get the mess fixed.
I asked how he got my number and he said from the insurance companies and i said which one and he replied you know AAMI, NRMA or something - was his exact words, so i said which one and he said NRMA. Then after i was reluctant to answer he said ill transfer you to my supervisor this time a KIM answers he cant speak English either. After i ? the man again and said give me your number and ill call you back he gave me 1800 223 367 - this is not registered.

This was a scam and they tried to get my address so i claim for my injury. I told him we have no injuries and he said thats ok i can claim my back or my leg. I told him i don't have an injury who are you.

He was rude and wouldn't listen to me then HE HUNG UP ON ME.

mum rang me all worried that 09463725 had called her asking if any one in the house had been in an accident. Mum was concerned as they new her name and her house number is silent. after looking up this number on Google found this site right away. I have tried to call them about 15 times and sent text after text lets see how it works when tables are turned...

These people that have nothing better to do tried to tell me that they were calling about a car accident I had recently (I did not). I had heard about them from a friend so told them to buzz off. They have rang three more times today! However, they don't speak now - they are calling a business number so I guess they are hoping that someone else will answer the phone... #NoChance #09463725

Just to add to the growing list. Had a call from this number today, let it go to message bank, no message left.
I'm on the do not call register. Still get about 10 'unknown calls' per week, nobody leaves a message.
Amazing what these people can get away with if the insurance scam information is true.

I love these guys, give them a hard time. I ask them which accident they want to know about, tell them I have had a couple, they say I should tell them more info, I keep asking them which one, their reply was " I am not here for your amusement madam." I keep asking them for more info and babble on to them, in the end they hang up, but I like to keep them on the line as long as possible as it costs the money.

woman rang me from this number about a car accident and compensation. she rang back 6 times, don't think I've heard the last of her, lol

I have received calls from (02) 0946 3725, it has been a lady calling with an Indian Accent, she asked if I have had a Car Accident in the past 2 years, they are from Claim Accident Insurance Claims ... Its all a SCAM i think... i told them that i was going to check with the Police so they hanged up, then they rang again, I told them "" how can u pay me if you don't even know my name or when my accident was "" they said just trust us Maam , you need to fill in the papers... i said i will check with the Police and again they hanged up,,, just be aware I think there ALL Scammers .. !!!

Third call from this number to my employer a LARGE organisation. Same as all other complaints. Premise of car accident, loud international call centre, abusive when challenged about being a scam.

Quite rude, rang to say he was informed someone had a car accident.. that in any way is not something to ring and tell us when it wasn't true. SCAM

Just had exact same call as above, first from a Private number then from (02) 0946 3725, regards "an accident ive had in past 2 years" - Not had an accident. I asked for their name. "Austin Beik from Australian Injury Health Insurance" allegedly... no such company seems to exist. Asked him where he got my number. NRMA he said. I didnt tell him anything and we both got fairly abusive after he called me a d*ck head. How do we stop this?

Definitely scammers. I did not pick my call up as I did not recognise the number. They hung up when they got the answer service. Then they tried again but from a different number (02) 9361 2614. Hung up again when they heard answering machine. So they tried again using a private number. Basically screen your calls and don't pick up. The way I look at it is if they are legitimate they will leave a message with details so you can call back, so I don't pick up.

I have a silent number too, yet still get calls on and off. Apparently what these companies do now is use random phone number selection, a way around this 'DO NOT CALL' side. I am pretty sure if you pick up, regardless whether you hang up on them or vice verse, that your details are probably logged and they then will keep calling.

I reckon they probably also make money with selling off your number to other companies once they know they have an 'active' voice for the number. My concern is how are they using Aussie phone numbers... Think I will call Telstra and ask for these numbers to be blocked.

In this day and age you would think we should have an easy way to block a phone number from nuisance callers...

This number called me around 7:22pm 29/07/14 and hung up. I should have known not to
answer it, its definitely scammers, PLEASE BEWARE!!!

This number has been calling me even though my number is unlisted and has been added to the do not call register. I just waste their time by letting the answering machine take the call.

Just received call, from # (02) 0946 3725. Stating that I had an accident in past 2 x yrs, mmmmmmmmm. Interesting not had on for 20yrs.Told him to "P...OFF" and get your facts right.

Yip same problem here. We get these calls almost daily and if we answer the phone it goes dead. Once my wife spoke to these clowns and when my wife asked them to provide this details, the lady got abusive and used her F-word and hung up on my wife - we were, are and will be furious and very much delighted if we as Aussies can stop these scammers
