Just received a text stating that I just sent $1700 via PayPal to a Barbara Jones at 2:14pm and to verify via contacting the number provided. I feel like this is a scam..

Caller: SMS said “Verify” I received the following SMS
You've sent A$1850.00 to Ms. Linda Jones at PayPal on 30th April 22, 1:05PM, IF NOT YOU, Contact Us Immediately: 1800 959 494 For Dispute.
Common Scam.

Caller: "Jason" from PayPal Quote text message received.
" PAYPAL: You've sent 1249.00AUD to W.D.S Consultant LLC. on 22/o4/30, IF NOT YOU, Contact Us Immediately: 1800 959 494 Thank you."
Jason tries to say that the payment is in processing & you need to confirm your card digits. He then reads out a card number similar to yours stating that the card needs to be removed from PayPal as it is flagged , So then a refund can be made to your account.
It's all a scam.
