Do not call this number as it is being used by scammers impersonating PayPal saying your account was used to buy Bitcoin in the UK or some rubbish like that. My friend got scammed and handed over email credentials so her email was compromised.

If you ever want to contact PayPal go via your app/login directly into their website and contact them through their contact us.

As others have said, this number was included in a scam email - actually I received multiple emails - all from different emails addresses each time incorrectly stating there was an unauthorised BIT Coin transaction. There was a fake DocSign link to tempt people 'review' these fake transactions. The fake amount was $349.99US in all the emails, though it could vary. DO NOT try and download this, and there was the common threat that my PayPal account had been temporarily locked, and to ring this number if I didn't make these transaction - that were never made of course.

Mark the email as spam, and definitely ignore the dodgy links and phone number.

I received an email that appears to be from docusign about potential fraudulent activity on my paypal account with an attempt to purchase bitcoin; the docusign document is unavailable and it asked me to call +61 1800 953 483 to resolve the issue. The actual email seems to have come from convictsdg+luke @ gmail.com. Likely trying to get my login details for my paypal account. I did not call the number and marked the email as spam.
