I received a text from an American number +1 (305) 615-0915 claiming to be from the Paypal security team asking me to call +61 1800 861 261 to confirm a pending transaction. I checked my Paypal account online and there is no pending transaction so I suspect this is a scam. It has been reported.

Caller: "PayPal" Similar to other comment - text from an Indian number +91 760 016 3107 claiming to be "Team PayPal" with a "Security Update!" and "We identified activity on your account that may require your attention:", advising "Please Call our Support 1800 861 261" The text was filtered (Samsung phone) to 'Spam and Blocked', and is definitely a scam.
