I just has a call from 1800 753 301. Indian accent claiming to be from Telstra saying I was overcharged $80 or $90 and they wanted to give it back. Two problems 1) No way would Telstra call to tell me I had been overcharged and 2) I don't have a Telstra account. I let him bang on and then said I don't have a Telstra account. Then he crankily said "I said I was from Optus" (no he didn't) and hung up.

Caller: Dirty indian

Dirty indian caller asking for bank acc to pay money back from Telstra acc. I told him to duck off you ducking hunt, why the duck would I give a dirty smelly indian hunt like you my acc number. The filthy dunt hung up

Claimed he was from telstra and had an account problem, I told him to hold the the so the call could be traced. He hung up. Obvious fake call. Telstra should locate the caller and procecute.

Scam. Claims to be Telstra wanting to refund an overcharge. Asks for a credit card.

Caller: A man with an Indian accent claiming to be from Telstra.

An Indian man called "Peter" rang me. Said he was from Telstra, and that I have been overcharged. Asked for my credit card details. Obviously a scam.
