Caller: pretending to be NBN They called on landline to say they wanted to upgrade me from copper to fibre optics and that my internet speed was bad (it isn't) . They kept insisting that I access my computer for them to assist me. Figured this was a scam call so I played along for a while... Lady gave me her NBN ID said her name was Stacey. I was then put through to the senior supervisor - Jack who also gave me his ID. They were very persistent trying to get me to go onto my computer. I said I will call them back and they gave me the number 1800 687 636. Definitely a SCAM

I asked them the text me or email me to confirm there identification but they were very pushy and trying to avoid my questions. I asked for there number to call them back on and this was the number they gave me. I called telstra and they confirmed that it was a scam call.

NO! don’t ever type anydesk or team viewer. These are programs that allow someone to take over your computer remotely! Just hang up on these people. DO NOT EVER DO THIS UNLESS YOU WANT TO KISS PART OF YOUR BANK BALANCE GOODBYE!
