Exact same thing happened to me except the text was from TM-INFO.

I checked my Paypal just to make sure - all was fine.

I called from a land line in Australia and got some foreigner who answered "Hellow Pay-pal how can i help you?" - FRAUD, My Paypal balance is fine...

it wasn't PayPal SCAMMERS TRYING TO STEAL MONEY FROM YOU I did report at police stations.

I had a message from this number stating that I had transferred $1.000 via Pay Pal. If any dispute Call us 1800 626 754

Message saying I had transferred$1500 via PayPal. I checked PayPal and thankfully nothing in there. I deleted the message.

Text message to say I’d payed $1000 au through pay pal for E Card. And to phone 1800 number if I disputed it. Checked pay pal and credit card accounts… all good… f** ken scammers trying to steal my hard earned money.

LOL I tried to pay my debt of $100,000 in cows and sheep and they hung up on me.

This is a total SCAM

Scammers pretending to be PayPal.

Similar message received today, I'm in WA. I was suspicious and after reading these posts I assume it to be a scam so not taking any action.
