Scumbags trying to scam me of 3700$ BEWARE

Received a message advising confirmation of an order for a Canon camera worth $3969.99 on 2021-04-08 (today).
They gave an order # and asked me to call the above number if any dispute.
It appears to be a scam to collect account information as I did not order a camera.

Caller: I don’t know

My scammer texted and suggested I call this number also, after I received a message confirming I bought a EOS Camera for $3969.99. Well organised criminals ... ?

Received text message saying
"Your order confirmed payment $3969.99 against Canon EOS R6 Camera at AMZ. Order# 1550215032 on 2021-04-08. Helpline (+61)1800-491-580 if any dispute , Thank you"
Knew it was a scam but Checked Reverse Australia to confirm.

claim to be amazon, to assist with cancelling an order notification texted to you. Send you links to click on, but bet they are after CC details to "refund" you. Dont do anything for them. dony click any links.

This number is being used as a fake helpline for AMZ (Amazon) Order Disputes and is being included in fake order confirmation emails of high value items.

Scam text received saying order confirmed for a three grand camera, and to call this 1800 491 580 number back if you have a dispute. Called on a landline - call can't be completed.

Caller: I called "Michael", on this number, in reply to text msg.

txt msg to my wife's mobile about an alleged Amazon purchase. Said "If NOT you, Please Contact 01899 491 580 Thank you"

I rang 1800 491 580, thinking they were Amazon. To cancel the alleged transaction, they asked for my Credit Card details - number & 3 digits on back. I gave them, then realized they must be scammers. Not being able to get $ out of my Debit card, they asked if I had any other Credit Cards. No, I said. They kept asking. By this time I had woken up to the scam. Why doesn't Telstra (or ACCC) shut this number down?

Fake call center pretending to be customer support tries to collect your personal information for suspected crime activities. Police should have set traps to arrest and close them down.

This is purportedly an Amazon 'Helpline' for disputed purchases that are sent by text msg from 0413 327 515 confirming an order for a MacBook Pro @ $3100. Operator seeks to elicit personal details. It's a scam. Do NOT ring them.
