Caller: Fake NAB text Fake sms from NAB:
“NAB: You’ve registered a new device on the mobiIe app. If this wasn't you caII us immediately on 1800 491 473”
How do I know it’s fake? I’m not with NAB for any of my banking.

Caller: Fake ANZ text Just received a text from “ANZ” about stopping a payment along with a reference number and asking to call this 1800 number. I am an ANZ customer but, from the NAB text above, seems it’s a scam.

Mine said this, “ A payment to SARAH JONES for 980 AUD was paused for further reviews. If this was NOT yourself get in touch with us on 1800 491 473 immediately. REF:UL7834.”
Obviously it’s a scam.
