Caller: Scammer, supposedly from Microsoft security

My computer was hacked,locked and the loud insistent warning , on a Microsoft screen gave this number to call with the promise of help.
I fell for the scam. Trustingly I gave all the information they asked for. My credit card was compromised.

Caller: Microsoft technition the number said to ring to walk me through unlocking my iPad which had multiple warnings of a virus and semi locked up .I didn’t fall for it , .I found by moving safari to private mode and then back to normal it went back to normal mode …

Caller: indian sounding voice answered there number - i hung up

wanting to review a password to HP . screen opened up to A Microsoft message & continuous voice saying don't turn off as computer has been compromised . Rang screen number answered by indian type voice couldn't understand , felt suspicious so i hung up. shortly after they rang back on personal phone & said they were from HP & asked to describe information on screen- I hung up not convinced genuine.
Turned off power, restarted seems ok for now . being a pensioner with kittle knowledge , was very concerning

Pop up scam appeared on the computer. with the number, 1800 399 346, to call them. Supposedly from Microsoft security.
