Caller type: Call centre
Location: Australia
This number is supposed to belong to Helpdesk Australia, a mob who claim to be the Australian support facility for Netflix, Telstra, Optus, Dodo and who knows what other companies. Interestingly the official website helpdeskaustralia.com claims 24 x 7 call centre and email, although the call centre obviously has nobody working and I've yet to find an email address. There is however a messaging whatsits with pale grey background and white writing which is almost completely illegible. I ended up calling the US support number (which went to a filipino call centre ... GRRRRR) and I've requested Netflix terminate whatever arrangement the company has with the totally useless Helpdesk Australia (which I understand from the Silver Springs (or whatever) address is actually a US company)
