Scammed me saying they are Netflix. The same number they pretend to be dodo, Telstra, Netflix and a printing support. Indian scammers laughed at me when I called to abuse them. How can humans be so low?

I hang this number for Netflix technical support. Line dropped out. They rang me. Always Indian voices I pulled out of call and rang again. This time was convinced to give remote access. Don't do it. They watched too much and the next I know they were looking at my email page. I questioned & then they went to my netflix account page and tried to get me to reenter my credit card details in front of them. I declined. They sent me to turn on TV and when I turned away they opened my PayPal screen. I pulled out immediately and have changed passwords. Watch out for this .. Still can't find how to contact Netflix but this is not them. May even cancel Netflix

Caller: Netflix (I asked and he said Netflix)

Oh, by the way, my next door neighbor had her Bank Account plundered by this guy 1800 383 368, he is Indian and a smooth talker., a number of purchases he made coming to nearly $500. This is my second encounter with him. Yes she downloaded Supremo at his request. she said Telstra used remote desktop (they do) so, she was not surprised (73 years old) and I had to reset her computer. I just quit Netflix, as I explained to them, this was last week and they have his computers IP and Mac Address, because by proxy he actually signed her up and she suspected nothing. Netflix wont do anything! I asked them for his IP/Mac address, he is a criminal? This is not a breach of Privacy, if Netflix doesn't take that information to Police, we can only assume Staff or Management are complicit!

I am back. The address is 33 Woodwark Cres, Silver Valley QLD 4872 "Indian Men". Took my neighbors Netflix application and credit card details and withdrew almost $500 from her account. I have friends at Airlie Beach, I will; ask them to help.

Caller: A Scammer pretending to be Netflix

I became suspicious when he asked me to download Supremo a Remote Desktop Client. I asked him time and time again why? I asked who is this? He said "Netflix". I said Netflix doesn't use Remote Desktop Clients you are a fraud. No he said "I am Netflix". I got the Number from the TOP of Google search for Netflix! He had top spot. I did a lot of work with Netflix to get the number and add removed, Today I discovered my neighbor did the same thing BUT a 72 years old woman didn't know about Supremo etc or scammers, she was also told He Was Netflix. The Ad said He was Netflix. I accused Netflix Staff of being complicit. A ewe days after Netflix was turned on "by this guy for her" and it worked immediately, He withdrew $500 from her bank account as she had given him the card number "believing he was Netflix and the CCV number on the back which he used to BUY $186 online shopping followed by $248 online shopping and an exact amount to make up $500 which maybe he assumed was the limit for an aged Pensioner. He was very nice, very pleasant, Indian Man and even got her Netflix done immediately (she gave him all her details but the Netflix $10 was taken out separately).

Today I tried to ring him on my phone and he did not answer, maybe knew who i was, maybe could see me from my camera. I had him as "Netflix scammer" in my contacts. I then tried to call him back on her phone, it went to FaceTime and he hung up, following attempts were "this number is not connected". The Bank is after him now. I still wonder how this can occur unless someone in Netflix is helping him, he is too slick to be like a Nigerian, Use your smarts and get this cheating lying thief and shut him down. If you still have his number "ring him now" and try to get his address or details. By memory I traced him to Wentworthville/Merrylands NSW.

I had a problem with my Fire Wall - I have Avast Security Premium Security for Virus Software. I phoned this no. 1800 383 368 thinking I was calling Avast. They logged into my PC - said that I had been hacked - showed me where and which date. Which I thought was right because I am running Windows 7 and Windows do not support any updates. He said that he would install Anti Hacking, Email Security Data Back and A C Cleaner for $200 - i said I couldn't afford $200 so he said he would do it for $100 and I was to pay the balance at a later date -(they would call me back to remind me) . When finished he gave me his name, ID No. and installed the contact number on my screen saying if I had any issues to call them. When looking closely at what he installed - I noticed the software is only a trial and would expire in 14 days. - Also, he has not fixed the issue of the Firewall as i still have the problem. I rang them back saying I found out they are Scammers and I wanted to speak to Jack. They said they would let him know and they would get him to call me. I have been scammed and they have had access to my PC. Ripped of $100. - They should totally ashamed of themselves. I feel sick now, that this has happened.

My boyfriend needed to get in touch with netflix and contacted the Bogus Google netflix site link. My boyfriend hung up before they could hack into his account. They were phishing for information. He felt the line of questioning and just the whole way this man was trying to get him to let him have remote access to his computer was very suspect. He was lucky but many others may have been scammed due to the fake link.

Like many others here making helpful comments, I was chasing up a wrong amount being hacked on my bank account from Netflix. Google search came up with contact number for Netflix helpdesk. I was given names of Jack Smith, then they changed it to Jack Smit, Ahann Samwells and asked to speak to his supervisor, a lady by the 'fake' name of Ashley called me on an international number - +1 360 369 4183.
Wasted over two hours and being extremely frustrated and getting calls back trying to take my money and insisting I needed security on my laptop.
PLEASE DON'T FALL FOR THIS - TOTAL SCAM!!!

I got an email from Netflix and clicked on a link. I then tried to access Netflix and failed on ALL my devices couldn't access Netflix. This was the number to call and he wanted me to download a program which he said was needed to reset my Netflix. It was a Remote Desktop program and I said "you are not from Netflix; you are a Slumdog.” I got onto the real Netflix and this is weird, without Netflix this could not occur. She clicked a button and I got Netflix back on all devices which makes me think he hacked my Netflix Account because I used several devices which should have worked and swapped to my iPhone Hotspot all failed to get Netflix to work. (Two different sims). Then I reset my Modem and Reset set my passwords, rang him back and he eventually hung up after I read him these comments. He still uses the same script; he can hack your computer through Netflix from that email. Right now, after ringing him, my Netflix won’t work again. I am going back to Netflix with his number next, someone in Netflix Staff must be involved and helping him. If I don't get an answer from Netflix, I am changing to STAN. Bye Bye Netflix and staff who maybe complicit will cover it up.
