I’ve received a similar message to the others posted on this thread, on the exact same day.. I believe it may be a scam text as well. The message reads “ Alert: Transaction Hold

Exactly the same text message received from a UK (+44) number.
Absolutely a scam

Have received the exact same message today as another user has posted. Same reference number, amount and place. 100% scam

I received exactly same message 11/07/26

Number given to call in a “PayPal security alert” scam text. Concerning that they somehow have a 1800 number.

Received a text message from this number claiming to be from PayPal about “unusual activity” detected on my account and that I should call this number.
