Caller: Suspicious NAB email listing 1800 178 857

Just wondering who this number belongs to. This number is listed on a suspicious email purporting to be from NAB advising me that Oasis Dental Care in Canberra will commence deducting $537 monthly from my NAB account. Digging deeper I find that the suspicious NAB email was actually from abigail @ kramerfamily.org - Googling Oasis Dental Studios I find they are QLD and NSW based. Are other people getting similar unsolicited emails?

Caller: A scammer I believe as this number is listed on the dodgy email as NAB Fraud Team

As a NAB customer I was surprised to get this email asking me if I approved of some direct debits. This 1800 178 857 number does not appear anywhere on the official NAB website. I thank other RA contributers for their reporting.

Caller: I received an email impersonating NAB

Received an email supposedly from NAB regarding some projected direct debits from me to an unknown business. Asked me to call NAB on 1800 178 857. I suspect my name, bank account and email address has been obtained by the hackers of the Qantas database. I have now changed the details of my two NAB accounts.

Caller: NAB scam

Supposed message from NAB with an invoice number and stating to call 1800 178 857 if the invoice did not seem familiar. The screen format was not a proper NAB layout and the email name read National Australia, not NAB and did not contain the usual security info.

NAB direct debit scammer.
