This is a LEGITIMATE number. Rang them yesterday about a letter received saying I was owed refund from previous loan. Was a bit dubious, but they gave me some other information about who was on loan and account number. Had been ignoring previous calls and emails from them, but decided to call as I got a letter from Law Courts, Melbourne. Got a refund of $220.72 in bank today. Very happy.

Definitely not a SCAM call. They are refunding a fee they charged incorrectly. Ours was for our home loan we had with them back in 2015. If you still have doubts like I did, email RESIMAC customer service and ask them to verify message / email you received. The refund wasn't much but definitely legit.

At first I thought these texts were scam messages, but then I finally received a letter addressed to my PO Box from Resimac so I phoned the 1300 933 216 and it was in relation to an incorrect discharge fee that was charged on a loan that I had previously with them under Homeloans Ltd from 2016 to 2017. They already had all my details and that of the other party on the loan but were just confirming if they were current to process the small refund (one hundred odd dollars). In 7 business days I should receive the refund. I did ask why they didn't just send a cheque out but the response was because people change addresses they want to make sure it's current. If I don't post on here again, it would be due to actually receiving the refund. fingers crossed. Also worth noting that my letter stated that if resimac don't hear from me by the 1st feb 2023 that the total compensation owed would be paid to a charity or not for profit organisation...

I called the (02) 9248 0300 contact number listed on google for Resimac to check if this was a scam but they said it was legit. I am presently waiting for a Remediation team member to call me back to follow up on providing a refund. The 1300 933 216 number is a dedicated hotline to speak directly to their team.

Ignored number on text and rang the listed number, was not a scam, called and received a small refund from back in 2014, they even knew the old bank account number which is no longer valid, but do your own research first

If this was true then I think it would be on TV or news paper.RESIMAC has ALL my details.If they send a text they can spend a $1.10 on a stamp and send me a snail mail letter!!!!
