Caller: It was a letter in the mail, but just didn’t sound right, so I called the number on my bill and this letter was a scam..

It’s a scam

I got a text with an account number saying that I needed to confirm my address details by calling 1300 832 854. It didn’t identify who they were purporting to be. I didn’t call, it looked very scammy

This number was in an email purportedly from Origin. Was suspicious because of the name given to the attached invoice and the general tone of the email;.

Nevertheless if it is a scam it is very convincing

Caller: Kaz and Nis

I opened a new account with Origin. Two people named above contacted me via email. They asked for personal details. I said l did not want to send by email, so they gave me the above number to call.
