Caller: Pretending to be SA GOV

SMS message asking me to call 1300 783 573 and quote the number 0006019340 when I call stating they are from the South Australian Fines Unit. They couldn't even get my name right saying Hi Mike !!! - I pray that they see their misgivings and use their time better to help those less fortunate rather than trying to scare people into calling.

these people call me at least once a day with request to pay fine also send me letters and text messages, i have a safines unit account which I am already paying direct debit for money they trying ti say I owe so I know its a scam and will be reporting them asap

As with others, called me by a different name and claimed I had a fine.

Caller: SAGov allegedly

Got a text saying SAGov saying I had a fine with South Australia Fines Unit well I got scared thinking I had a fine and what was actually a ambulance bill was a fine.
When they answered the phone when I called the said South Australia Fines Unit and when I said you’re really Dunn and Bradstreet she said yes. Don’t let these crooks fool you like the nearly did me. I rang the ambulance call centre they know nothing of this so called ‘fine’.
Can’t look the number up in the text as it’s SAGov I wish I’d have googled the number in the text. Be careful.

Left a message saying ring this number as soon as possible.

I'm not calling back with unknown number guys and block them straight away!
