Caller: RecoveriesCorp

I had a bad experience with RecoveriesCorp after the debt was passed on from OpenPay shutting down in Australia. This was the number directed from the website and all the information on the upcoming installments was found on the website with a portal available to pay the money online.

The portal works terribly and most of the time does not send a code, the number comes up as 'Suspected Scam' on Samsung phones. The customer service is heavy loud jazz music and then thick Indian accents.

Email bombardment tactics non stop even when installments are paid, no acknowledgement when amount was paid in full.

If you have a debt that has been transferred to RecoveriesCorp be very worried about liaising with the company long-term because the whole operation reeks of trouble, inconsistency, sub-par English ability and badly written and casualised email correspondence.

The whole operation is run like a bad scam even if it may be legit. This was a for a relatively small amount of $100-200. However, this could easily be a nightmare for thousands right now. If anyone has any more information if this is an elaborate scam (The had the legit OpenPay amount(s) owed).

I Googled the company and they do exist, but the 1300 number is different; plus, the 1st entry to come up in Googles says:
