Message saying Dun & Bradstreet wanting to discuss urgent matter

A computer automated message (or they just talk like a machine) to call back urgently before 8pm and quoting a reference number, they did not state who they were or why they were calling. After reading here they won't be getting a call back talk to a machine no way, also calling 1300 663 408 cost me 35c (Ha Ha). I cannot see down the phone line who/what I talk to! Maybe they should send a letter by snail mail, we see what they want then maybe? with all the scam calls now days.

I received an email from Milton Graham no-reply @ email.miltongraham.com.au .
Says 'immediate contact required', to call this number and quote a particular reference number. Have not called them but after reading below reviews i definitely won't be.

Hi, we have been trying to contact you to discuss an important matter. Please call Milton Graham (previously Dun & Bradstreet) sent me a message to call them on 1300 663 408 quoting 2970786 immediately. I have received this message about three times a week for months. I've ignored it because I don't owe anybody anything. One variation was on August 27 (after June 30) "If you receive a refund from your tax return, the money could assist in resolving your outstanding debt" I thought it must be a scam so I blocked the number. My daughter sugessted that I google the number and sure enough - it was.

They called and said that I had to talk to them urgently, they called me Bruce Cotton (which is not my name), and said I had to pay like $400 to my SE Water account, which is impossible because I have never owned one, and also I'm 13 years old so yeah... scam

Also received a message from this number claiming to be Dun & Bradstreet and received several missed calls and every time I phoned back the line was busy. DO NOT call back it is a scam!! Scary thing is that they had all my personal information as well.

They are Dub & Bradstreet, I have had dealing with them in the past, I had a $100 medical bill that forgot about as I moved house, they demanded payment or they would reposes my things. (for a $100 I just laughed at them) I was then told by another person who works there that as its a medical bill, there isn't much they can do and cant give me an bad ratings, I then stated getting up to 20 calls a day with threatening behaviour from stuff. I changed my number AND set it to private so they could not call me. I received a call from them tonight, what I would like to know is how they could even have no home number as, 1. its private 2. I made sure it was NOT listed in any phone book and 3. its a brand new unused number. Nothing but lying scammers, who will happily break the law. BEWARE. I told them I would happily pay the bill once I was given proof of what it was for and when it was from, I was told I had to pay it and would not be given any paper work. So until I see the bill which I didn't get as I moved house, I will NOT be paying them.

A message was left that said - "Please call this number - it is important that we talk to you urgently" - no info on what the call is about at all. I reckon this is one of those numbers where you get hit with massive charges if you call back - beware!
