Caller: Claimed to be AGL

Received anon message to answering service 15 Dec 2020. Had my correct name.
Number left does not coincide with AGL. Number given was 1300 657 452
Did not return call

Similar story to many above. Call from AGL and call back on 1300 657 452. Thank you for everyone reporting this SCAM and stopping me from calling it.

Just had a no caller ID call me 4 times today the 4th time they said it was AGL and an urgent call then said my partners name in full and to ring the 1300 657 452. We don’t have an AGL account.

I got all of above plus (a few weeks later) an additional charge on my phone bill for enhanced SMS. I dont know what it is but definatly stay away from that number !!!

I have an agl account and got a recorded message supposedly from agl that used my name saying to call their fully automated service 1300 657 452 immediately. I rang agl on their direct number to confirm there was no real problem. Definitely a scam caller

just had a recorded message purporting to be from AGL to ring 1300 657 452, on my answering machine. Do not have an account with AGL. Another scam caller.

SCAM!!!!!!!

Caller: AGL

They rang and left a recorded message on my land line - silent number- asking me to call them about my account. My name was said and I am not the account holder.

Just got a new sim card and within 4 hours got a message from (allegedly) AGL saying I owe $939.57. Not an AGL client. Checked the 1300 number through this page, as I though, a scam!

Caller: It looks like this is AGL's number

I spoke with someone there to pay an outstanding bill and they had information about our service that seemed legit.

Caller: They're still at it, it seems!

I don't understand how the government hasn't shut this down as this number seems to still be scamming people as a fake AGL call!

I received a text message saying AGL had not received my payment as I pay my bill fortnightly and I am $300 + in advance. this is a total scam

Have received calls and texts from 1300 657 452 - telling me I have an overdue AGL account. I don't have an account with AGL. SCAM!!!!!
Definitely ignore any calls or texts from this number.
