This number is referenced in spam/phishing SMS messages currently being sent from "NAB ALERT" (and probably other misrepresented banks and financial institutions) claiming that a loan application has been approved.
DO NOT respond to these text messages.
The full text of the SMS as received is:
"From: NAB ALERT
Your loan has been approved. Contact 1300 628 605 if you did NOT apply for this loan to speak to the fraud team."
