Caller: purported to be from PayPal SMS came from 0483 904 671. Looks like phishing. Message asked me to verify payment of an amount and to call 1300 512 427 to have transaction cancelled if it was not mine. I do not think this is how PayPay normally contact their customers. I called the number and heard the international calling tone. then a message saying my call would be answered by the next available agent. call was then answered but no-one spoke, and I could hear sounds of a call centre in the background. Then call dropped out. Very suspicious in my opinion.
