I just called called using another contact number from Coles Insurance (not this number) and yes, there was a refund cheque for a lapsed policy. They will send a cheque (I did not receive one as they said in the text message). I was paranoic about the whole thing, best to call a trusted number and make sure you are not missing out on owed money. I did not give them bank details, they did not ask,

I called coles on 1300 265 374 and the insurance policy wasn't in my name. I think scam....

Received same text message today.

Same message asking me to deposit a refund cheque for policy insurance that no longer exists
