This number is definitely a scam. They pose a NAB Fraudulent Payments Team who want to help you avoid a scammer stealing money out of your account. To identify you properly, they will ask you for the number generated by the NAB Connect token. DO NOT PROVIDE THAT NUMBER to them, as they will then use it to sweep your account clean.

I asked a few questions of the caller to see how they were answered and they simply don't have access to the information to answer those questions correctly.

Caller: NAB Fraudulent Payment Team

This number called stating he was from the NAB Fraudulent Payment Team and that someone was trying to access our NAB accounts and trying to make transfers out of our account. He said they were going to suspend our account to stop the transactions and set up an new internet banking login via an email and link. They asked for our NAB internet banking ID, I told them NAB would never ask for this information over the phone so they gave me this number 1300 503 324 to call back on to verify they were actually the NAB calling. This is obviously a scam, do not call back or give them any information.

Caller: James

Called said that he was from Com Bank and that there was fraudulent payment flagged on our account. Did not provide any information and he left this number to call back

Caller: James from NAB Connect team

Caller rang and asked to be put through to Account's Receivable. I took the call and James asked if I had any payments set up to come out of NAB Connect. I said it was a very bad line and could I call him back - this was the number he gave - 1300 503 324. I did not and will not return the call. Be careful everyone !

This number called - name not given - claiming to be from CBA High Value Team. They wanted to talk to someone that might deal with payments as they had concerns over some high value payments that had a 'stop payment' placed on them. We have no payments that have been stopped so we won't be calling back to find out what they are up to.
