Caller: Claimed to be HSBC Knew my middle name but unless I have an obvious reason to speak to them I will not reply....too many scams going on. They will keep trying if they really want me

Correction on my last note. HSBC had cancelled my card due to their mistake, so I'm pretty sure this is a legit number.

I think this is a hoax number. I received a text saying I needed to make a payment, unless I had just made one recently, and to call 1300 361 867 to discuss. I called the standard HSBC number and asked them if this was one of their numbers and they said they couldn't find it on their web site. Neither could I.
