Caller: 1300 307 452

They got my work email, my phone number and phoned me, wrote emails and sent msg also - trying to get my name and date of birth - when I suggested that I wouldn't do it, the caller became irate and said check the website, we have an address, and I told her she was not to call me again - she then said she would call me at home. Next I know, I have a msg saying that an optus tech is going to my house now. Very concerning! I checked with optus and they said they never made any calls or sent any emails, and that I didn't owe any money. Absolutely a scam! take care - they are good!

Keep getting sms from 1300 307 452. The number I'm using used to be someone else's but scammers have gotten hold of the number from a long time ago and keep sending sms. I just ignore it, the number they are texting from is not the recoveriescorp phone number as they pretend it is in the sms.

I got a message saying "Please call recoveries Corp on 1300 307 452 today, quote Ref (21323). Alternatively you can reply to this text."

Nearly got me this time too. What b.s.

Saying that my optus account was overdue but I'm with prepaid so it can't be.. Obviously is a scam.
Also in the text message it had to call back on 1300 307 452 and a link.

Caller: Jeanie from "Recovery Corporation"

Said she was given my name and asked me to verify my name and details before we continued the conversation. Gave a reference number and told me to ring 1300 307 452 to find out why. She tried to confirm my middle name which was incorrect and when I asked further questiions she hung up.

They said they r from recovery corp, they started with my first name & wanted me to verify my full name,d.o.b & address. I refused & asked them who is their client that they r acting on behalf to recover the debt from? They refused to answer & kept on asking me to verify my details, I said I did not receive any notice b4 the call. They told me blah blah check my old mail box & call them back...sounds very doggy

Asked to call this number. They may ask to check their ‘recoveries Corp’ website but it is riddled with mistakes. Seemed somewhat legit at first but nope, DO NOT TRUST.

Caller: Recoveries Corp, Optus

100% a scam. Lady seemed professional at first saying there was a ‘matter’ on my file from Optus, but I’m not with Optus. Asked for my name, DOB and address, I asked for verification of the issue and they told me to contact this number. Obviously a SCAM.

Lots of txts requesting call to 1300 307 452 with reference number for an Optus debt. Next received a final demand notice in the mail! Rang Optus on their number 133937 and was told 2 separate times the debt had been waived. Call this am from presumably recoveriescorp regarding payment. Who to believe? Reported to ACCC and Scamwatch

This scam actually sent a fake but legit looking bill to my home! These guys are next level. I’ve called Optus multiple time to be reassured that I have no money outstanding. I wish these people could be caught and jailed. I feel so sorry for Vulnerable people out there.

Guys, I got the same message from 0476 857 230 for 3 times last few days. offering credit support ect and asking to call recoveriescorp on 1300 301 452 with a reference number. I didn't call them, as I felt its a scam.
They called me today saying its Optus, asked me to provide date of birth to verify account, I didn't give it as the call was private number. girl on the phone was so arrogant and insisted me to give details to proceed. she said she will text me to confirm that's from Optus. I told anyone can send a text if you need, email me regarding the matter. she said she can't email me and really pressed to give details, I got rid of her finally saying I can't proceed for any reason. Beware, they are the most notorious scam I have every experienced.

Had a txt message from this organisation this morning. Wanted me to give them my full name address and date of birth. I asked them to identify who they where calling on behalf off but they refused until I gave all my personal details away.

Please everyone proceed with caution.

Caller stated they were from Optus (caller ID block) wanted to speak with my wife. Asked for a number to call them back on. 1300 307 452 was provided.
Googled number- comes back as a scam debt recovery service. Very suspicious especially since we do not have any debt.

I received a text message with a reference number. I have recently had the same message but from Optus.

They said they were from recovery corp were really determined for my details after they were able to give me my first name but wanted the rest of my details I informed her that I have had more then enough scam calls lately so she proceeded to give me their number: 1300 307 452 and "my" reference number. I still feel like this is a scam but I am refusing to call them back as I have not received any emails or letters informing me of anything I would need to know.

I got a call from a no caller id yesterday I answered and they hung up then the called back a few hours later ask me to give them my birth date and address I said tell why you are calling first but they said no give your details first they wouldn't so I said no they said they would text me a number and I could either respond to that or call the number they sent I text them back and said no until they give me more information

Seeking payment of outstanding bill from communication company that I am not with. Would not send any information on the outstanding bill until I paid - I just hung up its a scam.

Sounds odd, got a call from no caller ID in the last few days, picked it up yesterday and a lady just say hi then hung up, then ( sounds like ) the same lady called today when I picked up and told me that needs to speaks to someone but needs to verify the address to begin with the knowledge of my full name. I then asked them to text me with the company name and number, google it and didn't found the phone number on their website but when I called the number from their website their worker but now they said its one of their department's
