Max is part of the scam

This is a genuine number. It is Coles MasterCard, and I have called it many times.

Caller: Someone saying they were from Coles Mastercard

They called me saying they had detected possible fraudulent activity on my Coles Mastercard, and they strongly advised I should cancel my current card and receive a replacement. Being suspicious, I called this number 1300 306 397 printed on the back of my card and this action appears to be legit, card has been replaced. Still weary though.

Every damn day for the past 2 weeks these scammers and hackers have been sending me multiple text messages claiming to be ColesFS telling me this is the pin to this and that and to not to share it over the phone worst of all whatever the hell they have done they have prevented people from being able to block any of the numbers they keep contacting you and yes they are hackers as they hacked into our internet service

Left strange message requiring me to call back re Windows issue. Sounded like was from Indian Call Centre. Did NOT sound authentic & have had similar calls before from this number. BEST TO IGNORE

Just had a call from this number 1300 306 397.
The person was from India/Asia and his name was Alex Cross??? from Windows???

"Do I own the computer in the house?"

"Do you own a laptop?"
No
" Are you going to buy one soon?"
No.
"Thankyou" and disconnected!!!!!!!!!
