Text message from a mobile number providing a security code to authorise a payment of $590 to BETRIGHT. Asked me to call ING on 1300 187 360 if I did not make the request. This not ING's number

Caller: Scam

SMS claiming to be from 'ANZ: Voice ID updated in Darwin, NT. Please call 1300 187 360 if this was not you.' Got similar message a few days ago, claiming to be from Suncorp. I contacted Suncorp directly - they don't have a 1300 number and would never send such a text message so I assume this one is bogus as well!

Claiming to be ING, here is the message:


Your Security Code to authorise payment AUD 590.00 to BETRIGHT is 1480. Please contact ING immediately on 1300 187 360 if you did not make this request.

I typed the number into google and found out it was a scam and not INGs number.

It was sent from this number 0435 288 053

Text message said to call this number claiming to be ING

I got a text posing a bank, informing me of a code to release $500 from my account to a betting service. The number was given for me to call.

scammer claiming to be ING, saying to text NO to this number if I did not authorise a payment of $690 to BETRIGHT.
