It's all a scam. I've never ordered anything from a PayPal account let alone for that amount of money

Received a similar email this morning from 'PayPal' with an invoice stating that I had purchased at iphone for $969.
The only problem is, I don't have a PayPal account. The phone was meant to be delivered to someone called Amanda Fayette. Definitely a scam, so please watch out.

I got the same email this morning, but her address was different. I forwarded it onto phishing @ paypal.com.au

I too got a similar email for the purchase of an apple iPhone worth $650 Aus. Turns out it is a scam. Although I did not give them any details, I am worried they will still be able to access my account. Trying to get help is ridiculously difficult especially f you are not tech savvy.

As all the above, its doing the rounds by the look of it! My contact number to call as (02) 8006 0436. Didn't call it of course. Same deal though - IPhone 14 Pro for $649.99 AUD. They just keep on coming dont they!! So many of these scammers out there doing this sort of sh*te! Lucky we are becoming smarter! Well 99.9 percent of us are! :)

Phishing, I rang the number and got through after receiving the same email, this time the address was in Aus, but iPhone 14 pro for $699.99 won’t PayPal through eBay. The number was an Adelaide number, I let them speak they thought I was an idiot trying to get me to go to the App Store to download an app. Morons! Not my phone I rang off! These ones are particularly dumb. The logos on the invoice don’t go to the sites either …completely different language

Received exact same email as all above with the Amanda Fayette name.

Same as others above, received an email with attachment saying someone had purchased an iPhone for $699AUD via my PayPal

Paypal Scam, received email stating I had purchased a iphone 14.

As above. I got the same emails from a Kristen Faubern with an image showing a fake PayPal invoice for $649.99 iPhone 14. In addition to the gibberish they wrote in the body of the email it is a poor attempt at a scam email. Poor effort
