Called me in Adelaide, got my Answering Service, no message left. Getting sick of them !

Never anyone there, never leave a msg😡 will be blocked!!!

I'm on the Do Not Call Register on my home phone & also my mobile, still continually get all these unknown numbers coming up, if I don't recognise these numbers I let my phone ring out.
Alot of these numbers are starting with +61, 089, 038, 078 or 079. So you think it's from different cities around Australia. I've also had people ringing me saying my mobile number has rung them, which I tell them it wasn't me,so these scammers are hijacking your number to scam others.
In the past have answered but have now stopped answering.
It's either automated callers claiming to be from the taxation department, fraud squad, or about some car crash that I was supposedly in (not) or something to do with my computer at my home (which I donot own) Bloody scammers, be very careful people, especially the vulnerable elderly.
Please, Do Not give bank or credit card details over the phone.

Charity Spam

Did not leave a message - must be scam and not good when I am asleep as I have a health problem and need to rest in the afternoon

Answered, no-one there. Rang back (from an unlisted number), got a message claiming they were "calling on behalf of one of Australia's leading charities, from the fund-raising centre".

Unrecognised number to my home phone... no message left. Checked this site. Have blocked. Close now to having landline (NBN) disconnected as it is fast becoming just a channel for nuisance and fraudster calls.

Caller: "Your Commiunity"

The woman said she was calling on behalf of a charity called "Your Community". I couldn't hear very well and it seemed that she couldn't hear me. She said "can you hear me" and hung up.

Caller: They call me everyday

They never leave a msg. I simply don't answer calls from unrecognised number's landline or mobile....

Hangs up when I answered

They try to ring me at 9.00 pm on many occasions and I don't answer calls I don't know.
Now they are trying to ring at meal times. No messages left of course.

Caller: The Fundraising Centre on behalf of Next Steps

I answered my 70yo mother's phone to this call. They said they were from the Fundraising Centre calling on behalf of Next Steps domestic violence charity. When I asked for more detail about this organisation she said they made hampers for abuse victims. I said I had never heard of them and could she tell me more. I said I had left an abusive relationship and knew of some support organisations so was genuinely interested and then she hung up.

Mob fund raising for charity .. they never give up using a number of CID numbers.
I just hang up on them .. you can block number but they will use a different one next time.

Repeat scam caller. They leave no message. Number has been blocked ... on numerous occasions.

They hung up after I answered.

Caller: Charity organisation

Pre-recorded message same from numerous phone numbers, just a lady saying "hello can you hear me"

Phone rang. I answered. Caller hung up.

Same as many others here. I'm SICK of getting these ghost/scam calls.
My # is registered with the Do Not Call Register and yet I constantly get harrased!
Reported many, but it is time consuming and a pain, so, many more just get blocked.

I just blocked them too.
